Album: Iceland 2007

Iceland was a very special tour. I have never thought of travelling to Iceland. But after I met a woman from Switzerland in Scotland who told me how beautiful it is I was pondering on it.

By chance, I didn't do this trip on my own, instead I was accompanied by a friend.

So we went to Iceland by plane, rent a car and traveled around the whole island in three weeks.
Perfect!
Primarily because we visited some places off the beaten tracks (West Iceland, the Golden Circle Route and south coast, the westfjords, Askja caldera and the eastfjords).

The worst thing about Iceland is this: you could stop your car every few hundred metres and take fantastic pictures!
Unfortunately, I missed a few occasions but they are still in my memory.

There is nothing better than Iceland!
