Gullfoss, Geyser, Reykjanes

There are only a few landscapes and natural wonders left on the way out of the Eastfjords (Austurland, Austfirðir) towards Reykjanes. Some of them are the Strokkur, the Gullfoss further North, and Skálholt the second historical bishop's see beside Hólar in the North.

And of course, Reykjanes with its barren landscape and lava fields. But even here are some things worth seeing: the lake Kleifarvatn, the bridge that connects the American and Eurasian Continental Plate as well as Bláa lonið: the Blue Lagoon.
