Snæfellsnes
Snæfellsnes is a peninsula in Iceland's West that is crowned by the Snæfellsjökull: Jules Vernes entry to the centre of the Earth. You can see the whole peninsula from the peak providing good weather conditions.
But that's not all worth seeing: there are also the bird rocks in Arnastapi, almost directly below the glacier, Dritvík with its historical fishing huts and the stacks near Lóndrangar. If you want to climb a "real" volcano Saxhóll is waiting for you.
Everyone who is going to Brjánslækur using the ferry Baldur will definitely go to Stykkishólmur and can see Flatey in Breiðafjörður.
