Iceland's South Coast

The South Coast offers some variety: the glacier museum in Höfn, Jökúlsarlón, the glacier bay, the Skaftafell National Park with the Svartifoss, Fjarðrárgljúfur near Kirkjubæjarklaustur, Dyrholaey, Skógafoss, and Seljalandsfoss.

The Skeiðarársandur together with the nearby alluvial deposits seems to have no end. It is located between the mountains and the coast between Höfn in the East and stretches almost to Vík.
