Coast of the Mediterranean Sea

Israel's coast at the Mediterranean Sea has many ancient and cultural sites that were preserved over the millennia: Caesarea Maritima, Akko, and the ancient Jaffa which is still inhabited.
It seems that almost everyone has been here: Egyptians, Greeks, Romans, Byzantines, Crusaders, Arabs, Ottomans.
