Miyajima, Hiroshima

You must see Miyajima. It is one of the most beautiful places in Japan where you should spend at least one day to climb the peak and to visit the Itsukushima shrine or the Daishō-in.
Besides of all the culturally interesting things you can discover in Miyajima, there are also culinary delicacies you should try!
Beware of the deers! They are holy and seem to eat almost everything they can find (even coloured fancy paper).
