Scotland

Let's face it, Scotland was an experiment. But it was a successful one in many ways!
Scotland is a fantastic country, much scenery, wild highlands, rough cliffs and wonderful, kind and very helpful people!
Many people are a bit afraid about the Scottish accent but maybe it's just a special German attitude?

My favorite places are the Isle of Lewis/Harris, and the Orkney's. But I had to go to Iceland to find out why!
Both are remote places with a fantastic landscape. Nevertheless, it should be mentioned, that Ben Nevis, Speyside, Loch Ness, and the area around Aviemore and Loch Fyne are fantastic landscapes, too. They shouldn't be missed!

Scotland is great. I have spent there four weeks, have seen very much, but not everything. So there are enough reasons to go back again.
