Dufftown & Speyside

Dufftown is located in the centre of Speyside at the Whiskey Trail. Don't forget to visit the Glenfiddich Distillery when you are there. The ruins of Balvenie Castle are located outside the town.

You can also watch coopers repairing barrels in the Speyside Cooperage in the neighbouring town of Craigallachie, or visit Elgin with its destroyed Elgin Cathedral and the Johnstons of Elgin, a weaving mill.

Those who are interested in marine life will find the Macduff Marine Aquarium in Macduff very interesting.
