Outer Hebrides - Isle of Lewis

Here, life proceeds at a different pace. There is no ferry service to Ullapool on Sundays and the Sunday ferry to Leverburgh to the South has only been in service for a couple of years.

The west coast near Uig is supposed to be a surfer's paradise. All others can have a look at the Standing Stones of Callanish, visit the Black Arnol House or take a walk to the Butt of Lewis.
Also interesting is the museum of local history in Stornoway!

Those who want to get further around should take a bus to get across Harris with a short stopover at the St Clements Church.
