Loch Fyne & Loch Lomond

When you arrive at Loch Fyne you are almost in the famous Scottish highlands. The scenery is absolutely fantastic!
You should definitely visit the historic jail in Inveraray. And those who are interested in ships should take some time to go aboard the Arctic Penguin, a museum, to learn more about the era of the steamers.

You can also go to the Castle of the Campbells or climb the stairs of the church tower to get a stunning view over the town.

In Tarbert, you can make a short boat tour over Loch Lomond to the hotel in Inversnaid - directly into the land of Rob Roy.

Larger boat tours are possible with the mail boat at the southern end of the lake with short stopovers at the smaller islands.

Along the way from Tarbert at Loch Lomond to Fort William you will eventually come to Glencoe and cross the famous Scottish highlands.
